Michael Anderson

Michael believes that good decision-making must be rooted in solid financial analysis and a clear understanding of operational implications. He is most excited when able to connect technical information to strategic decision-making. His professional experience includes training to build nonprofit financial leadership capacity, conducting grantee due diligence, leading strategic planning and business planning process, and facilitating nonprofit merger negotiations. His favorite financial strategy question is: what is our optimal income mix? His work experience includes time with a nonprofit capacity-builder, a private foundation, a consulting firm, and a membership association

Michael holds an MPP degree from the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs and an undergraduate degree in Sociology, Spanish, and Justice and Peace Studies from the University of Saint Thomas. He resides in Minneapolis.
